Husqvarna is the forest and garden division brand of Husqvarna Group of Stockholm, Sweden, and the pioneer of the robotic lawn mower: it launched the world’s first robotic mower in 1995 and remains the global market leader in robotic lawn care (company-stated). The Automower range now spans small residential gardens to professional turf care. Residential models include the wire-free NERA series, which uses the company’s EPOS satellite navigation for centimetre-level virtual boundaries, and newer AI Vision models with camera-based navigation and night operation. For professional users — sports facilities, golf courses, municipalities and estates — the Automower EPOS professional series and the CEORA system cover areas from several thousand square metres to more than 50,000 square metres, managed through fleet software.

Within the same group, the Gardena brand sells its own robotic mowers (SILENO) for private gardens, so the group’s robotics volume is split across two brands. Husqvarna Group, founded in 1689 in the town of Huskvarna, also makes chainsaws, trimmers and construction equipment, but robotic mowing is its flagship robotics business and a stated strategic priority in the group’s shift to electrification. Products are sold in more than 100 countries, mainly through authorised dealers.
