Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
GlobleMatch exists to help people understand cultures and connect across borders. That mission only works if readers can trust what we publish. This page explains how our content is created, reviewed, and corrected.
How our content is made
- Topic selection. We choose topics based on what genuinely helps readers — navigating cultural differences, planning travel, learning languages, and building cross-border friendships. We do not publish filler or clickbait.
- Research. Each guide starts with research into the topic, drawing on widely recognized cultural references, travel guidance, and language-learning resources.
- AI-assisted drafting. We use AI writing tools to help draft articles. Every draft is then reviewed and edited by our founder and editor, Victoria Chen, before publication. Nothing is published without human review.
- Respectful treatment of cultures. We write about cultures with respect, avoid stereotypes, and aim to present traditions and customs accurately and in context. Where we get something wrong, we correct it (see below).
What we will never publish
- Fabricated statistics, user counts, ratings, or testimonials.
- Reviews or recommendations we do not genuinely stand behind.
- Content that mocks, stereotypes, or demeans any culture or group of people.
- Plagiarized or scraped content — our guides are written for this site.
Corrections
If you spot an error — a factual mistake, an outdated detail, or a cultural description that misses the mark — please tell us through our contact page. We review every report, correct verified errors promptly, and note significant corrections on the article.
