About Generation Robots (NGX Robotics)

Generation Robots is a French robotics distributor and engineering group based in Mérignac, near Bordeaux, founded in 2008 and now part of the NGX Robotics group. Its core business is distribution: it sells robots and robotic components — mobile robots, robotic arms, LiDAR, vision systems, servomotors and prototyping electronics — to universities, research laboratories and companies, testing and validating products before adding them to a deliberately restricted catalogue. It is the exclusive French distributor of ROBOTIS Dynamixel servomotors and an official Boston Dynamics partner for the Spot quadruped, and it states that it exports to more than 100 countries, with Germany served through a Berlin subsidiary as its second-largest market (company-stated).

What distinguishes the group from a pure reseller is its own engineering capacity: its GR Lab design office builds custom robotic solutions and develops autonomy software such as SLAM-based mapping, localisation and navigation on ROS and ROS 2 for sectors including nuclear, aerospace, agriculture and surveillance. The wider NGX Robotics group also covers collaborative-robot distribution in France and an autonomous security-robot maker. For partners, Generation Robots is an established European channel into research and education robotics, combined with an in-house team able to turn distributed hardware into working systems.

GlobleMatch Trust Signals

A directory that doesn’t sell stars. Trust Signals are built only from verifiable facts — never from anonymous ratings, and never for sale. There is no single hidden score.

Public information coverage	8 of 9 fields on the standard profile could be filled from public sources. This counts how much public information exists about the company — not how good the company is. The nine fields are listed in the methodology. Claiming the profile lets the company complete the remaining fields itself.
Last verified	6 November 2026 — facts on this profile were checked against the sources listed below. Profiles are re-checked on a published 90-day cycle; this date is never quietly refreshed.

Claim this profile to unlock response record, directory tenure and peer endorsements. The full methodology — what each signal measures and how it is calculated — is published in the Trust Signals methodology, including a change log.
