In agriculture, most of Trimble’s farmer-facing business now sits inside PTx Trimble, the joint venture formed in April 2024 with AGCO: Trimble contributed its agriculture business to the venture and holds a 15% stake, while AGCO holds 85% and consolidates it — a partnership, not a parent-subsidiary relationship with AGCO (see the separate AGCO profile, #212).
PTx Trimble’s OutRun kit is the venture’s first autonomous product.
