About Roborock

Roborock (Beijing Roborock Technology Co., Ltd.) is a Beijing consumer-robotics company best known for robot vacuum cleaners, and one of the world’s largest vendors of home cleaning robots by volume (company- and industry-tracker-stated). Founded in July 2014 and originally part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, it launched its first product under the Mi Home brand in 2016, built its own Roborock brand from 2017, and has operated as an independent listed company since February 2020. Its robot vacuums — the Saros, S and Qrevo families — combine LiDAR-based navigation, structured-light and camera obstacle recognition, sonic mopping and multifunction docks that wash, dry and empty the robot; a 2025 flagship added a mechanical arm for picking up small objects.

In 2025 the company extended the same navigation stack outdoors with the RockMow line of wire-free robotic lawn mowers using LiDAR and vision positioning. Cordless stick and wet-dry vacuums sit adjacent to the robot lines. Roborock is headquartered in Beijing, with R&D and branch offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen and an international office in Hong Kong, and states that its products are sold in more than 170 countries. For partners, it is a scaled, vertically integrated source of consumer service robots with in-house navigation software.
