About OnRobot

OnRobot is a Danish supplier of end-of-arm tooling and software for collaborative robot applications, headquartered in Odense, Denmark’s robotics cluster. Rather than selling robot arms, the company sells everything that mounts on the end of one: electric two- and three-finger grippers, vacuum and magnetic grippers, a gecko-inspired adhesive gripper, force/torque sensors, a 2.5D vision system, screwdriving and sanding tools, and quick tool changers. All products run on a shared "One System, Zero Complexity" platform with unified programming, so the same tools can be deployed across the major cobot brands and re-deployed quickly when production changes. The company was formed in June 2018 through the merger of three tooling specialists — On Robot, OptoForce and Perception Robotics — and has since added products such as the D:PLOY application-deployment platform and the LIFT100 robot elevator for palletizing.

Its tools target tasks including machine tending, palletizing, packaging, pick and place, assembly and surface finishing, and are sold through more than 700 distribution and system-integration partners worldwide (company-stated). OnRobot increasingly positions its sensing grippers as a data-capture layer for physical AI training. For partners, it is a single-source tooling vendor that lets factories automate more tasks with the cobots they already own.
