About Mentee Robotics

Mentee Robotics is an Israeli humanoid robotics company based in Herzliya, best known for MenteeBot, a full-size, AI-first humanoid designed to learn tasks from human mentors rather than from fixed programming. The company operated in stealth from its founding in 2022 and unveiled MenteeBot in April 2024: a bipedal platform with camera-only sensing, proprietary electric motors and AI integrated across every operational layer, from perception and navigation to grasping and natural-language understanding. The robot is taught through natural human interaction — a person demonstrates or describes a task and the robot generalises from a small number of examples, an approach the company calls human-to-robot mentoring, backed by few-shot learning and simulation-first training.

The platform is now in its third generation (MenteeBot V3), a vertically integrated design aimed at scalable deployment in warehouses, manufacturing sites and, ultimately, households. Mentee Robotics raised $17 million, led by Ahren Innovation Capital (company-announced, 2024). In January 2026 Mobileye announced it would acquire Mentee Robotics for approximately $900 million; the company’s website now presents it as "a Mobileye company", operating as Mobileye’s humanoid robotics unit while continuing to develop the MenteeBot platform from Israel.
