About ICON

ICON (ICON Technology, Inc.) is a construction-technology company whose robotic 3D-printing systems build houses and other structures layer by layer from a proprietary cementitious material. Its Vulcan gantry-style printer produced the first permitted 3D-printed home in the United States in 2018, and its newer Titan system — launched commercially in March 2026 — is a multi-storey robotic construction platform sold to builders and developers, supported by the company’s FormCrete material and its design and software platform. The company states it has built more than 270 homes and structures across the United States and Mexico (company-stated), including Wolf Ranch in Georgetown, Texas, described as the world’s largest community of 3D-printed homes, and large affordable-housing and military projects.

ICON works through three units: Build, its construction and architecture practice; Tech, the robotics, software and materials platform; and Prime, a defense and space division launched in April 2026 that covers military construction and the company’s NASA-backed Project Olympus work on lunar surface construction systems. Founded in Austin, Texas in 2017, ICON has raised approximately $700 million in total, including a $200 million Series D closed in October 2026 to fund Titan manufacturing, a new Austin R&D facility and expansion into further US markets (company announcement).
