About Curexo

Curexo is a South Korean medical robot company based in Seoul, specialising in surgical and rehabilitation robots. Its CUVIS-joint system plans joint-replacement surgery from CT images and then mills and guides bone preparation with a six-axis robotic arm; CUVIS-spine, described by the company as Korea’s first spine surgical robot, guides pedicle-screw insertion to a pre-operative plan; and the Morning Walk S200 is an end-effector gait rehabilitation robot for patients relearning to walk. Both CUVIS systems hold Korean approvals, European CE marking and US FDA clearances (company announcements). Curexo’s surgical-robot lineage runs through US pioneer Integrated Surgical Systems (ROBODOC), whose assets it acquired in 2006–07, and it remains a shareholder in US orthopaedic-robot maker THINK Surgical; in September 2017 it took over Hyundai Heavy Industries' medical robot business division, adding Korean surgical-robot research capacity.

The company sells its three robot lines in Korea and export markets including the United States, Europe and India. For partners and hospitals, Curexo is one of Korea’s few listed, home-grown surgical robot OEMs, covering orthopaedics, spine and rehabilitation in one portfolio.
