X Square Robot （自变量机器人） is a Shenzhen embodied-AI company founded in December 2023 that develops general-purpose robots driven by its own foundation models. Its GreatWall model series pairs perception, decision-making and precision manipulation in an end-to-end architecture: WALL-A was its first large operating model, and WALL-B, released in 2026, is presented as a unified world model spanning vision, language and action. Hardware is designed in-house to match the models: the Quanta X1 Pro wheeled dual-arm robot and the Quanta X2 wheeled humanoid robot, plus data-collection and manipulation hardware such as the TwinDEX dexterous interface and the open-source ArtiXon Hand.

The company has demonstrated its systems in logistics work — moving parcels from unstructured piles left by truck unloading onto sorting lines — as well as home services, research and education and commercial cleaning scenarios, and it runs developer programmes (BRIGHT) and the X2Real simulation benchmark to build an ecosystem around its models. In June 2026 the company announced four consecutive financing rounds culminating in a Series C and a valuation above US$2.8 billion, placing it among China’s most highly valued embodied-AI startups.
