Stäubli Robotics is the robotics division of Stäubli, a Swiss family-owned mechatronics group founded in 1892 in Horgen and headquartered in Pfäffikon, with its robotics development and production centred on Faverges, France. The group entered robotics in 1982 and has built the division into a global supplier of high-performance industrial robots known for speed, precision and sealed designs suited to sensitive environments. The range covers the TX2 six-axis arms, the TS2 SCARA family and fast pickers, in standard, cleanroom, food-grade, ESD and Stericlean variants for aseptic pharmaceutical production, together with the CS9 controller generation and its programming and simulation software.

Stäubli has also expanded into mobile robotics with AGV platforms and a mobile robot for pharmaceutical production. Its robots are used across automotive, electronics and semiconductors, food, life sciences and general manufacturing, sold and supported through the group’s own companies in 29 countries and agents in around 50 more. For partners, Stäubli Robotics brings more than four decades of industrial-robotics engineering and the backing of a diversified, family-owned group with roughly 6,000 employees — a long-term supplier profile rather than a venture-funded entrant.
