About ForSight Robotics

ForSight Robotics Ltd. is an Israeli surgical robotics company founded in 2020 to automate ophthalmic surgery, starting with cataract procedures — the world’s most common surgery — and extending to other widespread eye diseases such as glaucoma and retinal conditions. Its robotic platform combines microsurgical robotics, advanced visualisation and AI-based data analytics to deliver submillimetre precision beyond the steadiness of a human hand, with the surgeon operating from a console; the company argues this can expand access to sight-saving surgery where ophthalmologists are scarce and reduce the physical strain of manual microsurgery. A Technion-linked founding team and strategic backing from the Adani Group sit behind its push from Israel into global ophthalmology markets.
